Shoot Two
I decided that a key place that would help me to portray the history of Ballinderry would be the Old Ballinderry train station. The station opened in 1871, between 1960 and 1974 the station was closed to passenger, it then resumed to business as usual before permanently closing in 2003.
Although when I first looked at the image I felt that the photo was badly exposed. However, I decided that the dark shadows which created silhouettes from the trees in the background, complimented the contrasting cooler tones in the rest of the image.

I particularly like the composure of this image as what would be expected to be the central focus of the image is strategically obstructed by the brick wall in the foreground. By doing this, I added texture to my image.

Although I wasn't entirely impressed with my photos from this shoot and will likely not use them for my final photos, I would consider trying to gain access to the tracks and the front of the station.
