Shoot One
For my first shoot, I visited Portmore, a small Street in Ballinderry. The photos I took here varied in success as some images were overexposed, underexposed or badly composed.
This is one of my favourite images from this shoot, I love the colours and the aperture of this image. The shallow depth of field creates a central focus on the numbers and wire on the labels.

I thought that this image was quite interesting because of the composition. The oil barrels are in complete focus whilst some of the plants and wildlife around them remain blurred. I particularly liked how this image has an aged and rustic feel - which is what I intended to achieve from my shoot.

To develop my photos I intend on repeating this shoot in a different area of Ballinderry. For this second shoot I would like to try and focus on historical artefacts - I intend on locating my next shoot on the grounds of Ballinderry House.
